Bookophilia Booklaunch
Jamaican born author, Dr. Melissa-Sue John was invited to Bookophilia located in Kingston, Jamaica to present her books a their weekly story time event. Dr. John met some amazing kids and was pleasantly reminded that Americans and Jamaicas say presentation very differently. It was fun to be corrected by the brave and respectful children and very interesting to see how much she had assimilated to the American accent. We are all looking forward to visiting and have the remaining authors, Sabrena Bishop and Shaneika Burchell-Kerr, also Jamaican read their stories to book loving kids.
