National Endangered Species Day

National Endangered Species Day is observed annually on the third Friday in May to raise awareness about the importance of protecting endangered species and their habitats. This day is a reminder that we all play a vital role in preserving and protecting these species for future generations. It is an opportunity to educate ourselves and others about the impact of human activities on our planet's biodiversity and the steps we can take to mitigate it.

One way to support endangered species is through education, and children's books are an excellent tool for this. Lauren Simone Publishing House has a children's book entitled Dark Shade The Determined Dragon, which was written by Emmy Cross and Ander Cross. Ander, who loves Komodo dragons, co-authored the book with his sister, Emmy. The book features Dark Shade, a Komodo dragon, and his journey to save his species from extinction.

Dark Shade LLC collects donations and sells their books to adopt endangered species. Through their efforts, they hope to make a positive impact on the preservation of these animals. By purchasing a copy of Dark Shade The Determined Dragon, you can support this cause and help protect endangered species. Join us at our book launch event at the Historic Downtown Snohomish at 21 Ave A Suite 1, Snohomish, WA 98290!!

National Endangered Species Day is a time to reflect on the importance of protecting the incredible diversity of life on our planet. Let us take this opportunity to raise awareness, educate ourselves and others, and take action to preserve our world's natural wonders for generations to come.
