What an amazing book launch the Cross family threw! On Lunar New Year, Carol, Emmy, and Ander Cross celebrated with their supporters, the countdown until the first book in their new series is revealed. The Early Reader children's book series is entitled Dark Shade the Determined Dragon.
I believe readers will be motivated; it is a story that shows nothing is impossible. It is Illustrated by Simonne- Anais Clarke. The young artist has been sharing her talent through books at Lauren Simone for over six years.
The love for Komodo Dragons started with Ander. He opened his heart to Komodo Dragon’s as a toddler, and since then the rest of the family has treated the species with the same kindness as him.
Ever since they found out this species of lizards are endangered, they have been doing what they can to help. For instance, at the launch party, there was a cake building game, the purpose was to build each child’s team working skills. The group who won, adopted an animal from an endangered species!
