Rosamond S. White is the author of Home, Where is Home? She is one of Lauren Simone Publishing House's newest author who was recently seen on Channel 5.
Lift Every Voice hosted by Vanessa Jenkins and Tabitha Harris welcomed our author to learn about her contributions in the community.
She claims her birthplace of Antigua and Barbuda and her maternal home Commonwealth of Dominica in the Caribbean. She immigrated to Brooklyn, New York as a teenager. She holds a BA in History from Marymount College Tarrytown-Fordham University. Dual MS degrees, Human Resources from the New School of Social Research in New York and Leadership and Negotiation from Bay Path University in Longmeadow, MA. She enjoys reading, nature photography, travelling, and cooking. When in bed, she literally dreams of recipes and wakes up to try them. Presently, resides in East Hartford, CT where she serves as the first African American, Assistant to the Mayor.
