On April 28, 2018, local an d independently owned bookstores celebrated Independent Bookstore Day! We were invited to Wesleyan's R J Julia Bookstore's event located at 413 Main Street, Middletown, CT 06457. We had the honor of meeting two very lovely local authors: Jeff Cohen, WNPR news reporter and author of "Eva and Sadie" book series and C. W. Sparklet, author of "Peek." Pitkin Elementary School Project
On April 27th, 2018, we visited Pitkin Elementary school located at 330 Hills Street, East Hartford, CT for their Pitkin Spring Vendor Fair to help raise money for their accessible playground. All children deserve to play. We were happy to be among beautiful crafts, jewelry, and inventions.
