He is large, has green skin, and small eyes. His mother warns him that dinosaurs are dangerous.
Elijah is confident Rex will not hurt him as they are good friends. They go off together with the dump truck to play and they play for hours. The next day is Elijah’s birthday party and he wants Rex to be there, though he knows his friends will be scared of Rex. His mother agrees on one condition that they hide Rex in the bathroom. Elijah goes to bed dreaming of the next day with Rex.
The concept of an invisible friend will be relatable to many children and they will find this story exciting and captivating. The illustrations are adorable, like Elijah and Rex, and they make the scenes vivid for young readers. It is a good bedtime storybook and parents and grandparents can use this for bedtime storytelling.
