On June 12, 2023, I woke up and did my usual rituals. When I opened my computer I received an email from Fran Pastor, the CEO of the Women Business Development Center.
It read:
Congratulations! In recognition of your commitment to the work you have done with WBDC, as well as your success in your own business and your tenacity in pursuing your goals, you have been selected as a WBDC 2023 Women Rising Award recipient! We hope you will join us at our Annual Women Rising Gala Luncheon on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Greenwich Hyatt.
In addition, as a Women Rising Awardee, I will receive the following recognitions:
- Highlight in the gala video and printed program
- Profile in the Fairfield County Business Journal
- Spotlight on WBDC’s website
- Invitation to a reception at the home of a WBDC board member.
