Black Children's Book Week

Black Children’s Book Week is a global celebration of Black children and the people who ensure Black children are represented in books and other children’s media. The week is administered by Black Baby Books, a platform that makes it easier to discover children’s books with Black characters.

Saturday, March 4, 2023, there was a Black Children’s Book Week meet-and-greet and author fair held at Possible Futures Bookspace at 318 Edgewood Ave, New Haven.

Lucy Lu of New Haven Arts Collective wrote a beautiful article describing the works of the authors present.
