S.Q. is a Creative with a human-centered bent. Their art-making is whimsical, grounding, and playful. Children are some of their favorite people, and they’ve illustrated over nine children’s books through Lauren Simone Publishing house. In the past four years, they’ve been a summer camp counselor, babysitter, and educational assistant for kids ages 3-10.
S.Q. is deeply passionate about creating safe spaces for themself and others. They aim to spread more magic and whimsy to the world, and places built out of community care and holistic healing feel like home to them. Their dream is that through their art, people experiencing systemic harm can once again access their innate magic and childlike dreams."
