Meet Louisa | Lauren Simone Publishing Illustrator

Louisa lives in Hartford CT. You can find her most days at Grace Lutheran Church gardening, cooking, or hanging out. She has a studio space at Fresh Start Pallet Product’s shop where she custom paints benches and does her own work. In the past, she enjoyed a two-month residency in France, six weeks as an invited artist in China and a mission trip to Rwanda. She has a BFA, has had over a dozen solo shows and participated in numerous group shows. Louisa is a graduate of Charter Oak Cultural Center’s BOTS Center for Creative Learning. She is the illustrator of The Painted Sky by Rabbi Donna Berman, Ph,D.
