Painting with a twist and Imani Ariana's Disco balls of the universe

Do you like art? Do you like reading? Do you like spending time with your family? Do you like all of the above?

Painting with a twist, Hartford managed to put all these things together in a wonderful event featuring Imani Ariana.

Featuring the character and author, Imani Ariana, from the children's book, "Disco Balls of the Universe"

guests were able to paint,

play games, meet the author up close and personal,

and get a complimentary autographed copy of the book.

Showcased as a mommy and me event,

mothers and their children painted a canvas of either Imani in her space suit or the Sun in his shades.

With kid friendly music in the background, the instructor Stephan guided the families with step-by-step directions of how to paint their canvases.

Once they were finished with the first coat of paint, the canvases were left to dry, while the children had a snack break, played games, and won fun prizes.

The families had a great time and their art came out beautifully.

Painting is not only a fun activity to do as a hobby, but there are myriad benefits that promote mental health and improve your overall quality of life, such as:

Building Problem Solving Skills

Refining Motor Skills

Family Bonding

Fostering Creative Growth

Nurturing Emotional Growth

Offering Stress Relief

Strengthening Memory

Thank you Painting with a twist!
